STI College Iloilo goes Live@edu!
STI College Iloilo, a member of the STI Educational Network, recently partnered with Microsoft Live@edu to give students powerful communication and collaboration tools—with benefits that include richer functionality, increased convenience and collaboration, and mobile support.
With Live@EDU, STIers can enjoy free email, communication and collaboration service that includes anywhere access to 10 GB mailboxes on the Outlook Live e-mail experience across the desktop, web and mobile devices, 25 GB of free file storage on SkyDrive, document sharing & editing through Office Web Apps, instant messaging, video chat, and a lot more that STIers can access with using only one user ID & password.
Mr. Robby Manubay and Mr. Joemarie Amar of Microsoft Philippines led the launching and email activation last January 11, 2011 at the Computer Laboratory of STI College Iloilo. The pioneer batch of Live @EDU users was composed of the college faculty members and staff.
Registration, briefing, and activation of student user accounts are currently coordinated by Mr. Omyr Taton – ComLab Facilitator and Mr. Lloyd Celis – GE Instructor. The College hopes to achieve a 100% user account activation by the end of January 2011
