Being Dynamic

I was given this opportunity to teach at two of the prestigious educational institutions offering tertiary education here in Iloilo City.
at first, I was hesitant to accept the offer.

when i was in college pursuing a degree in Liberal Arts, I always dream of going back to school and become a teacher. I promise myself that after graduation I will pursue a Master's degree either in English or Literature. once i have completed my academic requirements, i would apply for a teaching post.

Graduation day came and few months after, I started working as Public Relations Officer for Barcelo Sarabia Manor Hotel and Convention Center. After two years of PR work for BSMHCC I transferred to Mandarin Resorts and Properties.

The experience and the friendship I have established with the people in the hospitality and tourism industry gave me so much realization about life. that Life is dynamic, opportunities are almost everywhere, you just have to be competitive.

I equate being competitive with reinvention, so why not pursue a masters degree?

So, I went back to Iloilo, and enroll for an MA in Literature. I was twenty two then...
at twenty-four i was offered by the dean of the college, where i graduated, a post as assistant instructor at the department of humanities and the department languages.

at twenty-four, with only twenty-one units for my Masters degree in Literature, I started teaching Humanities and English subjects at the College of Education, College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Nursing in the University of San Agustin.
