Iloilo City will once again celebrate Dinagyang Festival on23- 25 January 2009. The festival is a reflection of Ilonggos artistry and devotion to the image of the Senior Santo Niño de Cebu. Its religiousity is reflected in a well attended Religious event and Eucharistic celebration. While the Kasadyahan and Ati Tribe Competitions showcase the artistry and ingenuity of Ilonggo aesthetics manifested in the grand costumes of the ati-ati dancers, musicality of the drumbeats, and the lively choreography. No doubt that dinagyang is voted as the Philippines best tourism event.
